Avalanche Insights (since acquired by NewWorld), was an early stage technology company that was fundamentally changing how qualitative research was done, using the power of machine learning and natural language processing to deliver qualitative insights at scale. Studio Tomo led the company through a comprehensive rebranding, including a redesign of their website. The work helped position Avalanche as a leading innovator in the world of research—especially for the political left during the critical years of 2018-2022—and created a foundation for growth into new markets and product offerings.











Organizational Values
Following the rebrand, Avalanche hired Studio Tomo to develop a set of core values to help guide the daily actions and behaviors of the team and shape the culture of the organization to be one centered on purpose. The values were instrumental in helping employees embrace the inherent tensions in their work as essential to their success. Here is a small selection of slides from the work.
