Visual Identity and Creative Direction: Mike Preston
Senior Designer: Raymond Forbes-Schieche
Marketing Strategy: Leigh Silver
Copywriter: Jeremy Pippenger

Studio Tomo’s Founder and Managing Director, James Wu, was hired by Publiq Group to lead brand strategy for the startup, Live Baby Live, a nonprofit that empowers individuals living with neuromuscular diseases and their families to thrive. A brand story, visual identity, and trial creative were developed to help people, governments, and industries think about the critical need for inclusive design. Armed with a newly articulated purpose—“To empower every body to thrive”—and a roadmap for how to activate the brand through marketing, advertising, and partnerships, Live Baby Live was poised to fulfill its promise as a trusted, go-to resource and advocate for the neuromuscular disease (and broader disability) community.

“James co-led a brand identity project for Publiq, defining the purpose and brand strategy for a non-profit organization in the accessibility space, Live Baby Live. James is a collaborative, astute and thoughtful strategist. He has the ability to distill complex ideas into simple and actionable pathways. He makes clients feel at ease, and exceeded our client's expectations throughout the engagement. James would be a tremendous asset to any organization, or agency, looking for a smart, purpose-driven brand strategy lead.”
